Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 167,014 vehicles (domestic + export) in March 2021, registering a growth of 99.32% compared to 83,792 vehicles sold during the same month last year. The company saw a growth of over 94% in domestic sales last month.
The ‘Compact’ segment with WagonR, Swift and Baleno, registered a growth of nearly 103%, while the UV segment led by Vitara Brezza saw a growth of nearly 120% last month. As the market continues to lean more towards SUVs, the Ciaz sales continue to remain within 2,000 units per month.
