Maserati’s lineup for the 2021 Auto Shanghai includes a special Ghibli called Ghibli F Tributo, which according to the company, embodies visual elements inspired by the brand’s racing heritage. In simple words, the F Tributo pays homage to the Tipo 26, Maserati’s first race car. Apparently, the special edition is available on both Ghibli and Levante.
The exterior can be had in two exclusive colors: Rosso Tributo or Azzurro Tributo, with yellow contrasting elements such as calipers and pinstripe on the wheels. Rounding off the Ghibli F Tributo’s exterior looks are 21-inch wheels in gloss-black titanium. Levante F Tributo buyers will get 21-inch ‘Anteo’ wheels in black.
The cabin of the special edition will feature ‘Pieno Fiore’ black leather, with contrast stitching in red or yellow depending on the exterior color of the car.
The Ghibli F Tributo special edition appears to be based on the Ghibli S Q4 (notice the rear badge on the Azzurro car), which offers 430 metric hp and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) from a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. An 8-speed ZF automatic drives all four wheels. The 580 metric hp Ghibli Trofeo remains the range-topping model.
