Maserati MC20 Notte wants you to conquer the darkness

Conquer the darkness of the night, or, conquer the darkness inside you.

Believe it or not, it has been more than 3 years since the Maserati MC20 made its grand debut at a spectacular event called MMXX: Time to be audacious in Modena, Italy. The coupe was followed by the MC20 Cielo in May 2022, a track-day special called MCXtrema in August 2023, and of course, the GT2 in October 2023. Now it’s time for a first-ever limited-edition of the road car, and it’s called the MC20 Notte—limited to 50 units.

‘Notte’ is Italian for night, which is why the body is painted in matt ‘nero essenza’, coupled with a gloss black roof. The special edition rides on 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels with accents in matte white gold; lurking behind the wheels are calipers in black. White gold Trident logos and badges round off the exterior.

Inside the MC20 Notte, you’ll find 6-way power-adjustable seats wrapped in black/grey Alcantara with yellow contrast stitching and a yellow Trident on the headrests. You can also notice a limited edition plaque (UNA DI 50/one of 50) on the firewall, between the seats. Last but not least, the Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features carbon fibre inserts.

The rest of the things remain unchanged. The MC20 Notte is powered by an in-house developed 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine with 463 kW (630 metric hp) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft). An 8-speed DCT from Tremec drives the rear wheels via a Mechanical Limited-Slip Differential as standard.
