Renault Group’s shared mobility brand Mobilize has launched its first ‘Mobilize Share’ car-sharing service in France. Four Dacia Spring electric cars will be available 24/7 at strategic locations throughout Arcachon, each with its own parking space and a charging point. Two more Springs will be added to the fleet in Spring 2022.

As you might expect, the reservations can be done via the Mobilize Share mobile app. The registered users will be able to see if a car is available, check its battery level and reserve it. Once the vehicle is booked, the mobile app enables the user to carry out an initial vehicle check, as well as unlock and start the car. The users are required to return the vehicle to the same station where it was picked up.

The stations include Train Station (two dedicated parking spaces), Moulleau (one dedicated parking space), and Aiguillon (one dedicated parking space). In Spring 2022, one additional space will be added to Aiguillon, and one dedicated space in Pereire.

The Dacia Spring offers a modest 45 hp motor and an official WLTP City range of up to 305 km (190 mi). Read more here.
