Audi of America is bidding farewell to the TT RS with a special TT RS Heritage Edition—limited to 50 units. Do note that it’s only the RS version that is being discontinued after the 2022 model year and that is only in the U.S market; the base TT and TTS models will continue to be available in the U.S. market, while the TT RS is expected to continue running in the international markets for some more time.

Model MSRP
2022 TT RS $73,200
2022 TT RS Heritage Edition $81,450

The TT RS Heritage Edition will offer five different color combinations with exterior paint inspired by those offered on the Ur-quattro. And of course, each color combo (exterior and interior) will be limited to 10 units. These include Alpine White with Ocean Blue leather and Diamond Silver contrast stitching; Helios Blue metallic with Diamond Silver leather and Ocean Blue contrast stitching; Stone Gray metallic with Crimson Red leather and Jet Gray contrast stitching; Tizian Red metallic with Havanna Brown leather and Jet Gray contrast stitching, and Malachite Green metallic with Cognac Brown leather and Black contrast stitching.

The interior leather and contrast stitching combinations are leveraged from the current Audi exclusive portfolio of upholstery selections and apparently, include several first-time color combinations for the U.S. market. As a distinguishing factor, the right side rear quarter glass features a tiny “HERITAGE EDITION” script followed by the firing order of the five-cylinder engine “1-2-4-5-3”, underlined by a relatively large “quattro” script.

Also, notice that the rear wing has been deleted for the Heritage Edition. Other standard features include 20-inch 5-arm cutter design wheels in bi-color anthracite finish; sport exhaust with black tips; OLED taillights; Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with 12 o’clock marker in leather color; Alcantara-wrapped shift lever, and RS-branded floor mats with contrast stitching.

The TT RS is powered by a 2.5-litre in-line 5-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 294 kW (400 metric hp/394 bhp) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. A 7-speed DCT drives all four wheels via quattro AWD system. Audi claims a 0-96.5 km/h (60 mph) sprint time of 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
