Rock Creek edition returns.

The 5th gen Nissan Pathfinder has got a Rock Creek edition, scheduled to go on sale along with the full 2023 Pathfinder lineup, in late summer 2022. The vehicle will be on display at the 2022 New York International Auto Show (April 15-24). Pricing is yet to be announced, but in the meantime, let’s check out what’s on offer.

Speaking of which, on the exterior, you get a unique front fascia with black elements and a mesh grille; 18-inch beadlock-style aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped with all-terrain tires; a black tubular roof rack with up to 100 kg (220 lbs) load capacity; off-road-tuned suspension with additional lift, and of course, Rock Creek badging on the front doors and tailgate.

Inside, you get exclusive leatherette + fabric seats with Rock Creek embroidery; orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel, instrument panel, center console and door panels, and standard Intelligent Around View Monitor with Off-Road mode.

Other key standard features of the edition include LED fog lights, a tow hitch receiver and harness, 2,721.5 kg (6,000 lbs) maximum towing capacity, and 2nd-row captain’s chairs.

And, it’s not all looks though. The Pathfinder Rock Creek edition offers a bit more output figures: 220 kW (299 metric hp) vs 212 kW (288 metric hp) and 366 Nm (270 lb-ft) vs 351 Nm (259 lb-ft), thanks to a revised fuel mapping.
