Audi is offering new competition packages on RS 4 Avant, priced at €7,875 for the competition package and €11,875 for the competition plus package. The packages will be available at European dealers starting in July.

Visually, the packages get you an exclusive Carbon Matte Optics Package—which includes elements such as exterior mirror caps, front splitter and rear diffuser insert in Carbon matte (gloss Carbon optional extra). The rest of the elements are gonna be in gloss black, including side sill extensions, badges and rings. Buyers can opt for a crystal effect Sebring Black paint finish and 20-inch Phantom Black wheels. For those who want to spend more, the 20-inch wheels can be wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa high-performance tires that are suitable for both road and racetrack.

Buyers can also opt for RS sport suspension pro—which offers manually adjustable coilover suspension, with an overall ride height that can be 20 mm lower than the standard RS model. A higher spring rate, 3-way adjustable dampers, and stiffer stabilizers heighten the general driving experience and help shorten lap times, Audi said. Both competition packages also offer an increased top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph). The RS 4 Avant with the competition plus package is claimed to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, an improvement of 0.2 seconds over the standard.

Dynamic steering with a fixed ratio of 1:13.1; enhanced quattro sport differential with more fun in “dynamic” driving mode; updated software for the transmission control unit with reduced shifting times, and newly tuned ABS software are some of the other key features of the packages.

Inside, you get standard RS sport seats at the front with seat side panels in Piano Black. The seats can be upholstered in a combination of Dinamica & Pearl Nappa, where the former is made of 45% recycled PET fibers; about 215 grams of PET fibers are processed per seat.

The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo petrol engine continues to offer 331 kW (450 metric hp) and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque. A new RS sports exhaust system plus with tailpipes in matte black is also available.
