Vespa has launched the Vespa Pic Nic scooter, which as the name suggests, is targeted at those who apparently like to often go on picnics. It is available in two shades: Verde (pale pista green) and Grigio (light grey), both priced at $5,999 (INR 479,106) in the U.S. market.
The Vespa Pic Nic is based on the Vespa Primavera 150 as you can probably guess. It comes with a front and rear chrome luggage rack so that you can carry a picnic blanket and a water resistant picnic basket, respectively, with the former made of jacquard fabric and the latter made of wood intertwined with rattan. The basket also contains a removable cooler bag.
Both the blanket and the basket are secured with brown leather belts. Also, notice the matching seat upholstery and brown accents on the scooter’s footboard.
The Primavera 150 is powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder petrol engine with 9.2 kW (12.5 metric hp) and 12.4 Nm (9.14 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is coupled with a CVT.
