Novitec Maserati MC20 revealed with better aero & more horses

Novitec-Maserati-MC20_3

For those who find the stock Maserati MC20 to be “vanilla”, well, Novitec is offering some “refinements” both in the visual and power departments. The cockpit can also be customized as well to the owner’s personal taste.

The naked aero kit includes a slightly larger lip spoiler at the front that is claimed to reduce front-axle lift and therefore improve handling stability at high speeds. A ducktail spoiler at the rear is claimed to generate even more downforce. The hood outlets get naked carbon inserts, while the rear intakes get air deflector elements. Rounding off the exterior looks are Vossen forged wheels measuring 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear, wrapped with high-performance tyres of size 255/35 ZR20 and 325/25 ZR21, respectively. Buyers can also opt for Novitec sport springs, which lower the ride height by about 25 mm.

As for the juicy bits of the story, the twin-turbo V6 Nettuno engine is hooked up with a plug-and-play N-Tronic module that injects special maps for injection, boost pressure control, and ignition. And when coupled with a high-performance exhaust system, the output figures would be 523 kW (711 metric hp) and 818 Nm (603 lb-ft), which are 60 kW (81 metric hp) and 88 Nm (65 lb-ft) more than the stock. As for performance figures, Novitec claims 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.4 seconds. For the exhaust system, there are a bunch of options including stainless steel or Inconel, plus 999 fine gold plating is also available.
