In addition to visual and tech upgrades, there are some more.

The second-gen Hyundai Creta has received a thorough facelift for the Indian market. Prices start at INR 11 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. Variant-wise ex-showroom price list below:

Just to clarify, this is not the Indonesian-spec Creta facelift we saw in late 2021.

Those who found the original second-gen Creta’s design polarizing might find this facelift rather pleasing to the eyes, but only time can tell us the democratic decisions. The front fascia features inverted L-shaped light signatures at the top, connected by a light bar in the middle. The main LED headlights are at the bottom, as was the case in the past, but this time around, the whole front fascia features a blocky design. The same light signatures can be found at the rear. It appears that the Venue facelift has a strong influence on the Creta facelift’s design. On the side profile, there’s a new set of 17-inch Diamond-cut wheels.

As for color choices, you get: Abyss Black, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, Robust Emerald Pearl (similar to Aston Martin green), Titan Grey, Atlas White with Abyss Black (dual-tone), and Atlas White.

Inside, there’s a brand-new dashboard that houses a curved panel that integrates both a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Other key highlights include Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, dual-zone climate control, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology, and more.

As for safety systems, you get all the usual stuff such as airbags (front, side and curtain), ABS with EBD, ESC, TPMS, rear defogger, etc. The range-topping SX Tech and SX (O) get the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite that includes Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision – Avoidance Assist, Blind-spot Collision – Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Rear Cross – Traffic Collision – Avoidance Assist, and more. Download the brochure here.

The 2024 Creta facelift continues with the existing set of powertrain options, which start with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that offers 84.4 kW (115 metric hp) and 143.8 Nm (106 lb-ft). This engine can be paired with either a 6-MT or a CVT (branded as IVT).

The diesel option is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged unit with 85 kW (116 metric hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft); the engine can be paired with either a 6-MT or 6-AT.

For those looking for performance, there’s a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol option with 117.5 kW (160 metric hp) and 253 Nm (187 lb-ft). This engine is available only with a 7-DCT. Do note that this time around, the power is up by 20 horses and torque by 11 Nm, which I think is pretty cool.
