2024 Audi Q2 debuts with tech upgrades

2021-Audi-Q2-35-TFSI

I know, I know. Audi was not interested in continuing the Q2 story beyond 2023, but hey, as we all know, goodbyes are never easy. Or, maybe, someone at Audi watched Fast and Furious again and said “one last update”. Either way, the Q2 has been updated for 2024 and is expected to go on sale in Germany in a month or two, with prices starting at €28,600.

There are no styling updates; the last time the Q2 received a significant facelift was in September 2020. But this time around, the update is inside the Q2. As standard, the updated Q2 rolls off the assembly line with an 8.8-inch touchscreen (8.3-inch previously) with natural voice commands. The optional MMI Navigation Plus (€2,090) includes Audi Connect services as well as navigation services from Google. The 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit is now a standard affair. A 13-speaker Sonos premium sound system is an optional extra (€790).

No other updates. In the German market, the Q2 powertrain options range from an 85 kW (116 metric hp) 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 6-MT to a 221 kW (300 metric hp) 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol with 7-DCT + AWD (SQ2). Diesel options are also available.
