Volkswagen ID EVERY1 concept debuts with smiley faces

Volkswagen-ID-EVERY1

The Volkswagen ID. range of vehicles will soon be joined by the ID. Every1. How soon, you ask? Well, the production version is expected to show up sometime in 2027 with a starting price of around €20,000. The Every1 is for those who find the ID. 2all a bit expensive; this B-segment hatchback is expected to arrive sometime in 2026 with a starting price of around €25,000.

The Every1 is an A-segment hatchback that’ll replace the up!. With front and rear smiley fascias, it looks a bit different compared with other members of the ID family. The headlights and taillights have this deep 3D effect design that looks pretty cool. Built on the front-wheel-drive version of the MEB platform, the Every1 measures 3,880 mm long, which should make it a bit more spacious than the up!.

VW didn’t share many details, but the company wants you to know that the Every1 will be powered by a newly developed 70 kW (95 metric hp) electric motor that is good for a top speed of up to 130 km/h (81 mph). The range is at least 250 km (155 mi), VW says.

The interior design looks pretty chic and minimalistic, at least here in the concept. There’s a generous application of contrast touches, matching the exterior paint finish. In addition to a large central display, there’s a tiny display in front of the steering wheel for essential data. In addition to offering some reasonable space for up to 4 grown adults, the Every1 is claimed to offer a luggage compartment volume of 305 litres (10.7 cu.ft.).
