Maruti Suzuki (MSIL) has posted total sales (domestic + export) of 124,624 units in August 2020, registering a growth of just over 17% compared to 106,413 units sold during the same period last year. The company exported 7,920 units in August 2020 — a decline of over 15% compared to 9,352 units in August 2019.
A 94.7% growth last month in the Mini segment which contains Alto and S-Presso, suggests that the former is still the flag-bearer of the company. Another significant number we can see is of the Sales to other OEM, which refers to the Glanza, registering a decline of 40.9% compared to August 2019.
