Acura NSX Roadster from The Avengers to be auctioned off

Acura-NSX-Roadster from The Avengers

The Acura NSX Roadster, driven in Marvel’s “The Avengers” movie, will be auctioned off for charity in 2026. But before that, the special roadster made its appearance at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on Aug 15. Acura accepted hand raisers at the event for those interested in getting a chance to bid on the roadster next year.

The NSX Roadster was created specifically for the movie with styling inspired by the second-generation NSX Concept—first shown at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. The roadster was designed by a team at the Acura Design Studio in Los Angeles led by then Acura Creative Director, Dave Marek, and remains exactly as it appeared on screen 13 years ago, featuring the “Stark 33” license plate.

As a project vehicle, the NSX Roadster was built by Trans FX in Oxnard, California. The hand-crafted resin and fiberglass body was fitted to a first-generation NSX along with a 2-inch suspension drop, 18-inch wheels, and aftermarket seats. What’s more interesting is that a 1991 model with 252,000 miles (405,555 km) on the odo served as a base for this project.
