Indian Springfield launched at Rs 31.07 lakh

Indian Motorcycle launches Springfield in India at Rs 31.07 lakh ex-showroom, Gurugram. Named after its hometown – Springfield in United States, the motorcycle was globally announced in March 2016.

Indian Motorcycle says, the Springfield has been designed for pure touring experience, featuring a removable quick-release windshield and hard remote-locking saddlebags which are removable as well. In India, the bike is available only in classic thunder black color.

The bike is powered by a 1181 cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine producing 73 bhp of power and 138.9 Nm of torque @ 2600 rpm, mated to a 6 Speed transmission. The bike gets dual 300 mm discs at front and a single 300 mm disc at the rear with ABS as standard. Other features include tyre pressure monitoring system, adjustable passenger floorboards, dual trip meters, digital tachometer, ambient air temperature, average fuel economy, battery voltage, gear shift indicator, real-time clock and low engine oil pressure indicator and so on.

Owned by Polaris Industries, Indian Motorcycle has 5 dealers in India in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Bookings have commenced.
