Renault owned marque Alpine has released a couple of images of the 2017 A110 ahead of its premiere at the Geneva Motor show on March 7th. The production model retains most of the design elements of the Vision Concept of last year. The design is an evolution of the original A110 Berlinette (Coupé) of the ’60s (sold between 1961 – 1977), retaining its compact dimensions.

The new A110 reflects the timeless principles of compact size, light weight and agility that made the success of the “Berlinette”.

While the 60’s model featured several Renault engines ranging from 1.1 to 1.6-litre with 5-speed manual, the technical details of the 2017 model has been reserved for Geneva. However, Alpine says that the A110 features a full aluminium platform and upper body for optimum weight saving and agility, which helps achieve 0 – 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Available in 13 countries, and in 3 colors – Bleu Alpine, Blanc Solaire, and Noir Profond. The  A110 “Première Edition” (pictured above) will be limited to 1,995 units, and deliveries will start from 2018. Priced between €55,000 and €60,000 (inclusive of taxes in France). If you live in Europe or Japan, you can reserve one via Alpine app with a deposit of €2,000.
