Honda has just begun the production of Jazz based crossover “Winsome Runabout Vehicle” or WR-V in India, and its just a matter of time before the vehicle hits the market.

For Brazilians, the WR-V has been revealed, and will be powered by a 1.5 litre i-VTEC FlexOne engine, paired to a CVT. With ethanol, the engine generates 116 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 150 Nm of torque @ 4,800 rpm, and with gasoline/petrol, the numbers are 115 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 149 Nm @ 4,800 rpm.

The crossover measures 4000 mm in Length, 1730 mm in Width, and 1600 mm in Height. Wheelbase measures at 2550 mm, and Ground clearance is at 207 mm. Approach and departure angles are at 21º and 33º respectively.

For the Indian market, Honda is expected to offer the same powerplants and transmissions from the Jazz. The 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel and 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol engines, with 6 Speed and 5 Speed MT.

The WR-V for India is being produced at Honda’s Tapukara factory in Rajasthan.
