Harley-Davidson Street Rod priced at Rs 5.86 lakh

Harley-Davidson India has launched the Street Rod at Rs 5.86 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The bike costs Rs 95,000 more than the Street 750.

Powering the Street Rod is the same 749 cc V-Twin Revolution X engine from the Street 750, but here it produces 11% more power and 5% more torque, as claimed by the company. While the power output hasn’t been revealed, the torque is rated at 62 Nm @ 4,000 rpm; 3 Nm more than the Street 750. The engine here revs up to 9,000 rpm, as compared to the 8,000 rpm redline in the Street 750.

The bike has a drag style bars with bar-end mirrors, and 43 mm inverted front forks and piggyback reservoir rear shocks.

Braking duties are handled by the dual 300 mm discs at front, and another large disc at the rear. ABS comes as standard. Wheels are 17-inch ones, wearing 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tyres.

The Street Rod can be had in Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim or Olive Gold. Bookings have commenced, and the test rides will start from April 21, 2017.
