Tata Tiago AMT launched at Rs 5.39 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the automatic variant of its best selling Tiago hatchback, named Easy-Shift AMT, priced at Rs 5.39 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The AMT is available in XZA trim, and only with the 1.2 litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine.

The Tiago Easy Shift AMT comes with the typical four gear positions – Automatic, Neutral, Reverse and Manual mode. In addition, it boasts of 2 drive modes – Sports & City, for a peppy driving experience and city cruising. The AMT also comes with the popular ‘creep’ feature, which enables the car to crawl as soon as the pressure is eased off the brake pedal, without pressing the accelerator.

Since the AMT is built on the top end XZ trim, it packs all the features, including Harman ConnectNext infotainment system, 4 Speakers, Juke-Car app, dual airbags, ABS + EBD, Corner Stability Control, rear defogger, electric ORVMs, fog lamps, alloy wheels and so on.

The 1.2 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 85 PS (84 hp) of power @ 6000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque @ 3500 rpm.
