2018-Maruti-Suzuki-Swift

Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall for new Swift and Baleno models to inspect a possible fault in the brake vacuum hose. The company suspects around 52,686 vehicles manufactured between 1st December 2017 and 16th March 2018 to be affected.

Starting from 14th May 2018, owners of the aforementioned vehicles will be contacted by the dealers for inspection and replacement of the faulty part, free of cost. Customers can fill in their chassis number here to check if their new Swift or Baleno may need any inspection. The chassis number is embossed on the vehicle ID plate and is also in the vehicle invoice / registration documents.

The new generation Swift was launched in February at the Auto Expo 2018.
