Volkswagen ID.3 sales begin in Europe

Volkswagen will start accepting orders for the all-electric ID.3 through dealerships in Europe starting July 20, 2020. The company said that the response for the pre-bookings that began in May 2019 has been fantastic.

We are overwhelmed by the loyalty shown by so many pre-bookers. A large majority of these customers have already ordered their 1st (one of the early editions) from dealers. Other customers, who have had to wait for the start of production sales, will now be able to order. From July 20, they can choose between 7 preconfigured ID.3 models with the most popular features at their dealerships. – Jürgen Stackmann, Volkswagen Brand Board Member for Sales

All variants of the ID.3 are eligible for a subsidy of €9,480 in Germany; €3,480 of this amount is borne by Volkswagen as a manufacturer.
