Skoda Karoq removed from India website

Skoda-Karoq-India

Skoda India has removed the Karoq SUV from its official website, suggesting its possible discontinuation in the country. The SUV was launched in India in May 2020, three years after its global debut. According to reports, Skoda had imported only 1,000 units as CBUs initially and had planned for local assembly of the crossover at its Pune facility at a later date.

It is unclear whether the company is still considering the local assembly of Karoq. However, considering the fact that Skoda is preparing to introduce the Kushaq SUV in the country, it is highly unlikely that the Karoq will return to the market as it’ll become a redundant offering.

Currently, Skoda offers only three vehicles in India: Rapid TSI, Octavia RS 245 and Superb. The Kodiaq is discontinued too.
