Jaguar has launched the I-Pace Black in the UK, priced at £72,445 OTR for the standard variant and £76,695 OTR for the HSE Black variant. As the name suggests, the luxury electric SUV comes with a Black Pack that is intended to make the vehicle look more sporty.

Speaking of which, the pack includes gloss black elements such as mirror caps, grille surround, side window surrounds and rear badges. Rounding off the exterior looks are, again, 20-inch gloss black wheels. A fixed panoramic glass roof and privacy glass come standard in both variants.

The cabin features Ebony leather sports seats, Ebony headliner and gloss black accents. Other features on the regular I-Pace Black include 12-way heated, electric memory front seats; Interactive Driver Display, and Meridian sound system. The HSE Black gets additional features such as 16-way heated and cooled electric memory front seats, a Head-Up Display, a lower touchscreen, and Meridian 3D sound system. It also gets a Driver Assist Pack.

Both models get a 90 kWh battery pack that feeds two motors developing a combined 294 kW (400 metric hp) and 696 Nm (513 lb-ft) of torque. The electric crossover is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph).
