Porsche Taycan has landed in Australia with a light show

The all-electric Porsche Taycan was supposed to land in Australia in 2020 itself according to the original plan, but hey, we all know what happened to 2020. Although 2021 is nowhere near the “normal” we once enjoyed, the Taycan has landed anyway, and it has landed with a dazzling light show projected over the Sydney Harbour.

High-pressure jets created a 20-metre-wide cloud hovering above the waterline, with stunning visuals of the Taycan projected onto it, along with 3D effects, neon colours and electricity crackling across the water. A coordinated soundtrack added to the atmosphere. All of this was complemented by projections on the side of a nearby skyscraper. A deserving debut indeed; it’s a Taycan, after all.

The Taycan lineup (4S, 4S Cross Turismo, Turbo, Turbo Cross Turismo, and Turbo S) is now available to order via Porsche Centres across the country, with the Porsche configurator being live with local specifications and pricing. The base Taycan (RWD) is not yet available in Australia. Prices start at AUD 373,000 (4S).
