2022 Suzuki Baleno RS 3-door hot hatch looks too good in renderings

As you might be aware, Suzuki sells a sportier version of the Swift called Swift Sport in the international markets. It offers 140 metric hp as opposed to 90 metric hp in the regular petrol variant. It’s not a huge number, but not bad either for a small city car. But what if the Swift Sport is replaced with a 3-door Baleno RS based on the 2022 Baleno that was launched in India recently?

3D rendering artist Noel George went ahead and digitally imagined the same, and boy does it look good! He has given sporty front and rear bumpers, which look pretty damn good with black elements. And yes, those large wheels with a complicated design add to the drama. Overall, the proportions look just right. You can imagine a 1.4L turbo under the hood, a 6-speed MT or a DCT, and maybe a mechanical limited slip differential (LSD) as well.

So, will this 3-door Baleno RS hot hatch ever be a reality, at least in the international markets? Most likely not. Suzuki is a company that likes to be in its comfort zone these days when it comes to four-wheelers, so you might have to check with the Koreans for your hot hatch desires.
