Following the Project Maybach—a battery-electric off-road coupé concept last year, the folks at Mercedes have revealed another strange contraption this year. And this time, it’s in collaboration with American rapper will.i.am. The one-off concept is officially christened WILL.I.AMG and nicknamed “The Flip”. While the Project Maybach evolved into a special edition Maybach S-Class, the WILL.I.AMG project has philanthropic reasons. Meaning, the collaboration has created co-branded merchandise and apparel, which will be available for sale at the Mercedes-AMG Experience Center in Miami and online; a portion of the proceeds will go to the rapper’s Angel Foundation to benefit the underprivileged.

It is, however, unclear if the one-off itself is available for sale. But anyway, as you might have guessed, the contraption is based on the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, with design inspirations from the G-Class and the SLS Gullwing. But instead of actual gullwings, the doors are rear hinged. Also, notice that the concept is wearing a strange logo, but if you look carefully, you might see a bear. The logo dubbed “BEAR WITNESS”, is also the name of the aforementioned merch collection.
