Suspension duties in the Panigale V4 are handled by a fully-adjustable Showa 43 mm fork at the front and a fully-adjustable Sachs unit at the rear. The V4 S boasts Öhlins setup front and rear with electronic adjustment capability. The V4 S also gets a lithium-ion battery, which contributes to a kg saving over the V4 (174 kg vs 175 kg).

Both versions are powered by a 1.1-litre (1,103 cc) V4 engine that produces 158.5 kW (215.5 metric hp) at 13,000 rpm and 123.6 Nm (91 lb-ft) of torque at 9,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The single-seater Panigale V4 SP2 boasts a “Winter Test” livery with red accents; carbon fibre body parts; carbon fibre wheels; lightened final drive with 520 chain; STM-EVO SBK dry clutch; Brembo Stylema R front brake calipers, and more. This version weighs 173 kg (381.4 lbs), 2 kg (4.4 lbs) lighter than the V4.
