MG Motor India is all set for Cyberster roadster and M9 MPV launch

MG Motor India (JSW MG Motor India) is all set to take their game to the next level with the Cyberster electric roadster and the M9 electric luxury MPV. These two models will be launched under the ‘MG Select’ luxury retail chain. For the uninitiated, the MG Select is similar to what Maruti Suzuki did with the NEXA retail chain.

The Cyberster was launched globally in 2023. In the UK, it retails for £54,995, which, at the time of publishing this story, roughly translates to about INR 62.5 lakh. The price in India, however, will vary significantly due to high customs duty, so it remains to be seen how much the on-road price will be.

As for the M9 MPV (also known as Maxus Mifa 9 in some markets), it competes against the likes of the Toyota Vellfire and the Kia Carnival. So, expect an ex-showroom price of anywhere between 70 lakh to 80 lakh. In China, the M9 is also sold as Maxus G90, and is available with a turbo petrol powertrain.
