Maruti Suzuki CelerioX launched at Rs 4.57 lakh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the CelerioX with prices starting at Rs 457,226 ex-showroom, Delhi. The CelerioX gets generous visual upgrades, similar in the lines of Toyota Etios Cross, VW Cross Polo and Hyundai i20 Active.

The vehicle gets body cladding all around, X-themed front face which includes blacked-out grille and fog lamp housing, black ORVM caps, blacked-out B-pillars, blacked-out door handles, roof rails and black alloy wheels.

Interiors get all-black theme with white and orange accents.

The CelerioX gets Paprika Orange as its signature color while other options include Arctic White, Glistening Grey, Caffeine Brown and Torque Blue. The vehicle comes with standard driver-side airbag and a driver side seat belt reminder. Passenger airbag and ABS are offered as an option across all trims.

MSIL has sold over 300,000 units of Celerio since its launch in 2014.

R S Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), MSIL said, “Celerio has successfully carved a unique position for itself in the competitive compact car segment. With CelerioX, Maruti Suzuki aims to give this well-accepted model a bold, stylish and sporty makeover as per the changing preferences of young and social savvy consumers. We are confident that CelerioX will enhance the brand and bring in younger customers.”

Mechanically, the CelerioX is same as the regular Celerio.
