November 2020 sales: Maruti Suzuki registers 1.7% growth

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) sold a total of 153,223 units (domestic + export) in November 2020, registering a growth of just over 1.7% compared to 150,630 units sold during the same period last year. The company shipped 5,263 units to Toyota (TKM) last month. Also, the exports saw a growth of over 29% last month.

There are some interesting numbers in this chart, such as over 15% decline in the ‘Mini’ segment that has Alto and S-Presso models; the former has been the company’s bread & butter ever since we can remember. Surprisingly, the Ciaz, which has been recording a decline in sales for several months, saw a growth of over 29% in November 2020.
