MINI Countryman facelift launched at Rs 39.50 lakh

Mini has launched the Countryman facelift in India, priced at (ex-showroom) INR 39,50,000 for the Countryman Cooper S and INR 43,40,000 for the Countryman Cooper S JCW Inspired. The models are being locally assembled at the BMW Group plant in Chennai.

The Countryman family got facelifted globally in May 2020. Features for the Indian market include LED headlights, LED fog lights, LED taillights, 17-inch wheels, and a panoramic glass roof. The JCW Inspired variant gets few extras such as JCW aerodynamic kit, JCW rear spoiler, Comfort Access System, and 18-inch JCW wheels.

Features inside the cabin include electric front seats with memory for the driver, 6.5-inch central display, dual-zone climate control, and Piano Black accents. The JCW Inspired variant gets a lot more, including a JCW sport steering wheel, 5.5-inch digital driver display, Head-Up Display, 8.8-inch central touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless smartphone charging, and Harman Kardon audio system. Both variants are powered by a 2.0-litre (1,998 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 141 kW (192 metric hp) and 280 Nm (206.5 lb-ft) of torque. A 7-speed DCT drives the front wheels. The gearbox in the JCW variant has sporty tuning with paddle shifters.
