Hyundai India has officially revealed the 2022 Venue facelift. Market launch is scheduled for June 16, 2022, and bookings are open at all authorized dealerships from today for a deposit of INR 21,000.
The renderings which we saw just a few days ago, got it 100% accurate. The styling revisions are mainly on the front and rear fascias, with the front reminding us of the Palisade facelift and the 4th gen Tucson. BTW, the Tucson is returning to India, so watch out for that if you’re interested. But anyway, it appears that the front fog lights have been let go for the facelift.
Exterior color choices include Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Phantom Black, Polar White, and Fiery Red. The Fiery Red is also available with a Phantom Black roof (dual-tone).
Key features would include an infotainment that supports up to 10 regional languages; sounds of nature in the infotainment; Home to Car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant; 60+ Bluelink connected car features, and two-step reclining rear seats. All these key features are claimed to be segment-first. Download the pre-launch brochure here.
The 2022 Venue facelift will retain the existing set of powertrains, which include a 1.2L N/A petrol with 5-speed manual transmission, a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT options, and a 1.5L turbo diesel with 6-speed manual transmission.
