Ferrari HC25 debuts as a thongy one-off

Ladies and gentlemen, there’s a new Ferrari one-off here, and it’s called the HC25. It seems like one of Ferrari VVIPs had a spare F8 Spider and came up with an unholy proposal to transform it into the so-called HC25, to which Ferrari seems to have agreed.

The styling appears to be a mix of multiple modern Ferraris. More specifically, the 12Cilindri vibes are a bit strong here, and I think I also see a lil bit of 849 Testarossa. One of the design highlights is a discreet door handle – integrated into a long blade milled from solid aluminium, which stretches like a bridge between the two sides of the bodyshell, themselves separated by the central black ribbon.

From the top view, the HC25 looks as if it is wearing a men’s thong – which I’m pretty sure you can’t unsee now. But otherwise, the HC25 looks fairly unique compared with the donor car; more unique than the SP-8 – another F8 Spider-based one-off.

The so-called HC25 retains the F8 Spider’s 3.9L V8 biturbo with 530 kW (720 metric hp) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft), same numbers as the F8 Tributo. A 7-speed DCT drives the rear wheels. The official 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time is 2.9 seconds.
